Several boxers have gone and tried out MMA,why cant a MMA fighter come to boxing and why cant Floyd shut up one of their loudests mouths???

Those were black eyes too. Im a huge Toney fan and I hated what he did.

This is terrible for boxing. We have the best boxer of this era fighting a guy who has 0 pro fights when there are plenty of.hungry boxers out there who could put up a much better effort. It's a joke. At some point you have to stop being a fan and see the big picture.

Boxing fans are like a cult sometimes. How does one event "hurt boxing?" Boxing is suffering due to the lack of talent, the like of promotion, and the rise of mixed martial arts. It's really that simple. Boxing is seen as a limited sport, a limited form of fighting by many in the mainstream. This event would bring MMA fans to boxing and generate a ton of buzz.

Floyd's championship fighting days are behind him, he's old now. I think he should stay retired but I don't blame her for wanting one last huge payday. If any of us could make 100 million in one night we would take the chance as well.

There is no doubt in my mind that this fight would be HUGE. Maybe bigger than Manny vs Floyd due to the crossover appeal for boxing & MMA fans, but also even into WWE fans + for the freak show aspect to it.

But it ain't f#cking happening folks. No one has even talked to no one. Floyd ain't talked to Conor. Floyd's people ain't talked to Conor's people. Floyd ain't talked to Dana. Dana has talked to Conor & Nate Diaz within the last week & from most accounts they will be fighting at UFC 202 or UFC 203 in 3 months or so.
