According to your logic, you won't be able to know a lot about life unless you have a ton of money. You won't be able to travel to Iceland to learn about hot springs...you won't be able to go to Hawaii to learn about volcanoes...you won't be able to travel to Burma to learn about Buddhism. You won't learn much at all unless you trust the information experts collect. You don't have to trust all information...but the information is there to learn from. And if someone regurgitates information from an expert, maybe you should ask for the reference. You like to experience life...lol, don't make me laugh...you're on this blog, same as me, not experiencing life at all. Sometimes, you have to sit down & contemplate experiences...& gain more info from others on said experiences. Experiences don't make up the majority of who you are...knowledge went with it hand-in-hand. Are you speaking from the jock point-of-view where books & information are useless? Go on believing that. Meanwhile, the scientists out there who build upon the knowledge of other scientists before them are out to help save the lives of the people around you. All anyone in this world ever does is build upon the information from the previous generation. Who taught you?...how do you think taught them? Did you learn anything from reading this article?...you read it, but didn't experience the negotiations or you weren't there when Sanchez said those words...how can you trust it?...you didn't experience it. This would be futile for you to talk about it because you need to experience it, right? Knowledge is the foundation of society. If you don't want to believe that, then you might as well go live in the mountains as a hermit.
