In Bermuda, there is a tax on employers. Under the Payroll Tax Act of 1995, employers pay a percentage of their employees gross salary. There is also a 'stamp duty' placed on any Bermudan assets at the time of a persons death (oddly intertwining death and taxes), but there are no income, sales, capital gains, or property taxes in Bermuda.

Also, one can make the case that the spirit of your life can never die if you have a lasting legacy. Or, one can never be truly dead so long as people can remember you in their minds & in their hearts. Death in the literal sense is absolute. Death in the figurative sense can only be attained if you are completely forgotten.

Notwithstanding the science explanation, which says they can download the contents of your brain onto a computer. This isn't sci-fi anymore...this is an actual thing. Also, cryogenically freezing your body before death can make you defy death. Death is not a guarantee in today's world anymore.

Critics can argue all they want about fighting so-and-so...critics will always do this for any popular boxer. They did it to FMJ. They did it to Pac. Now they're doing it for GGG. Critics are never going to be satisfied.
Ahhhh, but the ones you mentioned all have career defining wins...GayLoveKin has ZERO

I stand corrected. So I guess it's safe to say that if you're going to retire in Bermuda, don't make your money in Bermuda.

Your argument is that one cannot speak of boxing because they have never boxed before. That is a completely false statement. There are tons of NFL experts who never played a single down of football in their life...but are considered experts because of their knowledge. How about this for a thought experiment: Does the moon exist? For you, the moon must not exist simply because you've never been there...you never traveled to space & walked on the moon...how do you know that it exists? Sure, you can see it sometimes. But how do you know that's not an optical illusion. See, this is an infallible conclusion to make. One does not need to be a chef to know that the cookie is sweet...

So if one is 25 years old, and another one is 40, the 40 year old says "just wait until you're my age". The 25 year old THINKS he knows wtf he's talking about until he then hits 40 and then realizes "now I get it". Have kids? Married? You THINK you know about both until you then experience it, but realize yet again...ohhhh shyt...here comes reality.

I don't care about armchair "experts". They know the stats, the players, etc...they have no idea what it's like to be in the middle of combat though. This is the difference between Bernard Hopkins giving commentary vs max Kellerman.

Then why even come to these threads?! Nearly every single person posting a comment has never boxed...they're just boxing fans. You're engaging in a futile exercise to fulfill your narcissistic needs. There is no need for you to be here if you don't care what...what did you call it?...armchair experts...why even engage an armchair expert in a debate if you don't care what others have to say about the subject of boxing. Seems to me like you're writing yourself into a corner. You want to talk about reality?...how about this for reality: the guy who thinks he knows the most about boxing wasn't the one who wrote the article....isn't the one getting paid for their boxing knowledge...isn't the one who ppl turn to when they have boxing questions. Basically, what you're admitting to is that you're a troll. Boxing fans come here to discuss & debate the sport of boxing. Opinion is opinion. But no one is going to care one iota what you have to say if you're going to go around trolling ppl on their opinions. Have fun negotiating that philosophical mine field...
