What does that matter? FMJ fought & beat DLH at 154. Even if he fought Canelo at 154, he still would have beat him. If FMJ has fought at 154, & won belts at 154, then absolutely he can fight at 154 in the present. No getting around that. I mean, if we were to believe what FMJ's camp said, then he was too dehydrated when he fought at 147. The IV, remember? Sounds to me that his body is just right to make 154. Not saying he should fight GGG. But you can't just dismiss the 154 weight class for FMJ when there is evidence that he could have ruled that division too.

GGG is more popular than what people think of. His first PPV did 150k vs an unknown. Compare it to Canelo vs Lara which did 300k and Lara was more popular than Lemeiux.
However, GGG still has third place for a money fight with floyd with the first and second being manny and canelo respectively.Comment

Absolutely right. There are only 3 fighters that FMJ can make that nine figure payday: Pacquiao rematch, Canelo rematch, & GGG a distant 3rd. Can't see a Danny Garcia fight making him nine figures...too much ppl will see through it. They won't buy his fights unless he's facing someone who can actually give him a challenge.Comment

I don't think he could come close with any of them. PAC fight was a huge dud, they'd be lucky to do 2m at $80, which is 80m needs to split with PAC. Canelo was a gross mismatch and now carries little cred and no Mw belt, yet would be hard to budge on the weight or purse split. Imo Ggg gets him closest to 100m. He'd take the smallest split by far, and it could be a blockbuster with tons of casual interest. Still worse risk/reward than the other twoComment
