Teeh size of Sam. Peter. 253 pounds.........

The Size of peter is tremendous. He stands 6'1'' and weighs 253. Curiously I would like to measure his punching power agaisnt someone like foreman or perhaps liston. He is bigger than both were in there prime. Where does the exta size come from, like why didn't liston weight 250 or so or could he have had he done steroids or did more weight lifting......... ..... The extra wegith todays; fighters carry may be extra weight but it may not be solid and slows them down somewhat..........A good way to determine it's effectiveness would be to match them against old time fighters, but such can never take place.. .. Liston vs Peter, both big punchers, who would win................?????????

Peter's carrying TOO MUCH weight. He needs to be around 225 or 230...235 MAX, IMO.

Oh...and for what it's worth. Sonny Liston would kick Sam Peter's ass...rip him to shreds and quite possibly put him to sleep. Sonny was a good boxer...Peter is not.

i thought he was too heavy last night in the ring had he been taken more rounds, the extra weight would have gave peters trouble

i think foreman still hit harder when he got a clean hit on the chin the guy was out right then and there . peter stuns then beats them out with 1 or 2 follow up punches

If Peters accuracy was better I think his power would look
                  more impressive.

Even when Foreman hit them clean on the chin he usually had to follow up though. One punch Foreman knockouts were a rarity. In fact, a lot of his knockouts wins over quality opposition were stoppages and not KO's. He had EXTREMELY heavy hands but he was not an explosive one punch finisher.

Actually Peter may have better one punch power when I think about it. I don't know if Foreman ever had anything like the Jeremy Williams KO where one left hook was enough to take someone out.
