    CBS Sports Network cards.

Since late last year I've noticed the CBS Sports Networks usually has a card or 2 per month. And I've heard people talk about the loss of ESPN's Friday Night Fights.

Well, look no further. Friday Night Fights is back, but it's on CBS Sports now. They showcase the same type of fights as FNF also. You have the old veteran who doesn't want to retire in Shane Mosley. Last night, you had the up and comer in Jarrell Miller.

Start paying attention to the cards on this network.

    I watch it occassionaly...

Usually it's very low level prospects.. They aren't horrible matchups, just usually no
"name-value" fighters, and little to none matchups that are for any serious belts..

    But the announcing is horrible...

Yea it's really no worse than fnf. What haymon should have done was instead of spreading fights everywhere just stick to the cbs networks and fs1.

phase 2 of the project; be patient.

When Showtime/CBS makes the bid for the main PBC package (with ESPN, SpikeTV, BounceTV and FS1 likely paying for their own smaller content deals), the streamlining will take place in a big way.

Showtime/Showtime International will have their deal, CBS will be the main stage for the terrestrial boxing content (largely from February through August, coinciding with the end of football season), and CBS Sports Network will be the home for the smaller NBCSN-level shows, replays of the CBS broadcasts, and whatever other general PBC support programming that comes up.

You don't know what the market could possibly bear if you don't reach out to the entire market first.
