PEOPLE NEED TO REALIZE THAT TAKING PEDS IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO.

WHY WOULD YOU BE AGAINST ANOTHER HUMAN BEING TAKING A DRUG MADE BY THE INGENUITY OF HIS FELLOW MAN SO HE CAN PERFORM BETTER AT HIS JOB?????

      Think about that.

Those who are against PED use are on the wrong side of history.

"There are legal PEDS you can take."

Quoting Paulie Malignaggi to make your case? You poor thing.

You know I was with you until then. Well, not really but I can see some merits.

The prohibition on PED use is in place to ensure a level playing field and to protect Boxer's health.

Of course it's all well and good saying this prohibition works to maintain a level playing field when at best those at the top have much better access to superior training facilities including trainers, dietary and nutritional experts and sparring partners and at worse access to the kinds of people who are good at administering PEDs without being caught. So perhaps on that front it is failing.

As for boxers health? Firstly, a lot of these drugs, especially the designer drugs do not undergo the same level of testing it requires for other drugs to hit the market. Secondly, those that have been approved but like in this case being used off-label are only tested for the use they were approved for. That means they may or may not require a specific dosage and may not be suited for long term use. Sure, boxers put their lives at risk every time they step in to the ring but that's a known risk.

As for being on the right side of history? Just wait until these drug pushers and athletes realise the potential of CRISPR and it's like.
