        You're right, they're both banned.

        One because it's an illegal narcotic in most places still, and one because it's enhances your in-ring performance.

        There is a CLEAR distinction as to WHY each substance is banned, if you want to ignore that then fine...nothing to argue about, but don't act like wilder moved on from Povetkin to fight a guy that was busted for taking HGH.

          One will improve your performance, the other will hinder it.
          When fans pay to see a fight, they deserve to see the best possible performance from each fighter. A fighter who smokes dope has little respect for the seriousness/dangers of the sport, and they can't possibly give their best. If you actually believe that regular weed use has no negative effect on an athletes performance, then you're probably a delusional pothead yourself.

            I wasn't born last week. I know the difference between the two. Bottom line, in pro boxing at least, they're both banned substances. Doesn't matter what they are, what correlation one has to the other, nothing. Nothing else matters besides the fact they're both banned substances. Make a big deal out of it if you want. Doesn't change facts.
