Golovtards: **** Eubank Jr. He's not serious about the fight, tell him to send the contract, Jennady only fights for titles, Jr is no draw. Canelo threw his belt in the trash, Mexicans are *******. 35 is prime.

    Wait, what? Just happened?

You keep hanging your hat on that fight as if it's the one where he gets exposed, yet you fail to mention everytime that he came into the fight with the flu. Considering he's beaten fighters superior to Rosado, in much easier fashion lends me to believe that Rosado's success had a lot do with Golovkin getting the flu.

What you also failed to mention about Eubank Jr. is how flat footed he is and how befuddled he looked in the first six rounds of his fight with BJS (Another fighter who doesn't move very well), as if he'd never seen a jab in his life.

I do agree that in 16-18 months he could beat Golovkin... if Golovkin slows down considerably during that time.

If Eubank's profile breaks through, to the point that he's a box office star in the UK, there's no real reason for him to go elsewhere, imo
Matchroom are exclusive to Sky Sports and not Sky Box Office. Same umbrella, two different en******. Sky Box office in theory would televise any event deemed PPV material.

Your point stands though, Matchroom are the biggest Boxing promoters in the country. If it's money and big fights they want, it's money and big fights they shall get.

Imagine how quick that fight would have ended if GGG was healthy. Rosado was lucky GGG was off. Still Rosada's face looked a bloody mess.

Flu with 104 temp, probably weakened him quite a bit. Rosado still fought with a big heart and landed lots of big shots.

If Golovkin is allowed to stalk, not worry about anything coming back, and fight at that medium range, he looks marvelous; you make him fight from range or make him fight on the inside, and he instantly becomes ordinary.

Eubank Jr is definitely a raw talent who likely needs some more time to get experience, but he's been seemingly blessed with father's chin, is explosive from range, and is starting to look like the most natural and dynamic inside fighter at 160lbs on the planet.

K2's been careful with who they consider fighting Golovkin for a reason; i think Eubank Jr smokes Golovkin with 16-18 months more experience. If they don't fight him soon, I don't see K2 ever willingly fighting him
Eubank does not have the power to trouble GGG simple!! watch the blackwell fight again blackwell continuously dropped his head towards eubanks uppercut he couldn't put a c level fighter away with 100 free shots!!!

Flu or no flu, once Rosado got it in his mind that Golovkin wasn't some 'Superman', Rosado set his feet, boxed in style, and actually force Golovkin onto the backfoot, where he looked pedestrian.

Even if you want to argue that Golovkin "let Willie Monroe punch him in the face", when Monroe set and started to throw, Golovkin was forced to stop and reset. (And let's not ignore the point that he entirely abandoned the "mexican style" nonsense the moment he stepped in with Lemieux, a limited guy but a limited guy who could punch).

Billy Joe Saunders was busy behind a good jab and movement (who watched the fight get close as he tired late); Gennady Golovkin fights nothing like Billy Joe Saunders.

Golovkin's not a wonder on his feet, he's there to be hit, and he seems gladly to let shots bounce off of his face, if you're willing to fight; with Eubank Jr not having to chase Golovkin down, if Golovkin's not on his busness, he's going to catch a fat uppercut and get put out.

How many PPVs has Sky Sports put on that had nothing to do with Matchroom Sport?

None as of yet but if an event such as Wilder vs Fury were to materialise then Matchroom would have naff all to do with it, unless everyone kisses and makes up.

Matchroom have an exclusive deal with Sky Sports to provide Boxing content on satellite plus a select number of PPV events. Any other sporting event doesn't require Eddie or Barry to sign it off.
