In Bellew's case I'm surprised he campaigned at LHW for so long (if at all) as he really boiled himself down to make the weight.

He fought at HW as an amateur , and 18 of his 29 pro fights have took place above 175.

Do you ever stop and ask yourself why they moved up? Could it be because they had no shot of winning a title in their former weight class and moved up to try and win another belt in a higher weight class?

Bellew got KOed by Stevenson and he has no shot in hell against Kovalev either. Why not try your luck at CW, when there isn't really a dominant champion?

Same goes for Ricky. He got beat up by Zlat and doesn't have much of a future at 135. So he moves up to 140. While he doesn't have a shot in hell at beating Terence Crawford or Viktor Postol, the WBA belt is vacant and the other title holder is Eduard Troyanovsky.
