Cruiserweight has to be the hottest division in the sport, 175 is a close second
Welterweight is severely overrated - after Manny and Floyd retired we have a few OK fighters, but nothing more
Flyweight has fizzled out a bit. Gonzales and Estrada seem relatively dormant
HW is still a joke
I'm sure i'm missing others, like featherweight.
Its kinda of a double edged sword really. The lack of massive corporate American promoters allows for big fights to be made at cruiserweight. None of the HBO/PBC bullcrap that fans on here have sadly learn to accept. But at the same time, the division is irrelevant and overlooked in the US. Its HUGE in Europe though. I think the cruiserweight thaw first started with Huck losing to Glowacki in another Huck-esque war. This is a rematch we may see. Until then, Glowacki vs Usyk is a fantastic fight and I don't know who to pick. Lebedev recently unified a couple of belts, the first time in years. Makabu after his war with Mchunu looks to be a world champion soon, with Drozd lying in the sidelines to make for another fantastic fight. Dorticos has just made himself known to the top 10 too. Mckenzie is still hanging in there, despite his record, he definitely lives up to his nickname 'the upsetter'. On the sidelines, theres Bellew, Breidis, Aslan, Kalenga and Ramirez to provide some tough challenges.
The division is STACKED
