after watching the replay several times, i thought canelo was in much better shape early on than i had initially thought. you can get a bit wowed by the speed and the misses, but if you watch close some of canelo's shots are not only landing, but they're really making khan react. even if khan was touching him up and winning rounds, canelo's power, size advantage, and khan's bad chin were keeping canelo from being distanced too greatly.

lara and khan would be a strange fight, and possibly an awful one. i still haven't seen khan - algieiri. just haven't found the time to watch what i feel like is probably a dull fight.

gotta favor lara. by a lot. bigger, but really only around 160 in the ring. probably much more durable, especially at this stage. 74 inches of reach. maybe a bit taller. khan's got a bad a chin and is coming off of being knocked out cold. khan has faster hands, but ithink lara's got better footwork in terms of turning, ring generalship. etc. i think lara makes khan come to him and picks him aaprt.

maybe khan wins on activity, but you really doubt it. not a fight i care to see. khan's a welterweight. don't care to see him at 154 unless he can't make 147 and be strong.

Lara would probably outbox him he has much better defense. Might even KO him with a straight left

Khan - Algieri was a much better fight than I was expecting, you should give it a go.

Kahn may have won the first round against Canelo. After that Canelo had his number and it was just a matter of time.

Don't care to see this fight. But if it ever happens, Lara by KO. Everyone knows about Khan's chin, but it's more than that. Lara has pretty good power. Khan wouldn't be able to handle it.

Out of my 3000 posts and more than 4 years on this forum I believe this is my first not thread, but POST about Amir... so joke is on you!

The quality of the forum has declined because of frequent chanting 'nutthuggers' on every single thing that is written these days..

                    Lara utterly destroys Khan.

He is better than him at everything. It's a guaranteed knockout.

After the 2nd round, Canelo was outboxing Khan comfortably. He was in complete control.

Canelo was badly missing so many shots in the first rounds it was awful to watch.
And Khan beats Lara, style vs style his style is very good against Cuban boxers. Wide UD for Khan.
If you gave Khan the first 5 rounds then you are just a plain idiot or have an agenda going in that is effecting your scorecard. Fact Khan was being out landed after 5 rounds and didn't have a single round where he out landed Canelo. Canelo landed more shots and obviously had more power on his punches then the ones Khan landed. He also wobbled Khan in the 5th to the point he almost broke his kneecaps to stay up right after getting clocked with a clean hook to the head. Busted up his eye and he had major rib bruising. Even Harold Lederman had it 3-2 after 5 and he was getting steam rolled in the 6th before the KO shot.

Khan in his fight with Algieri landed 218 punches through 12 rounds which is about his average punch output. Against Danny khan landed 92 punches in 4 rounds, almost 30 more then Danny. Against Canelo he was limited to 48 punches through 6 rounds, almost 20 less then Canelo. On pace for career lows Canelo literally took away more then HALF his offensive production and he landed only 28%. That is what you see defensive wizards like Mayweather do to fighters. So don't give me this crap about Khan was winning this fight or up 5-0 in the scorecards. If you had it like that you either don't know shyt about boxing or you had an agenda against Canelo. Khan did NOTHING after the 2nd round but take a beating till he was put to sleep.
