I think 115-113 for Freitas was the right score. It was a close fight, though. I really hated the way Raheem grabbed and held in EVERY freakin exchange and ducked his head under. Freitas also had a couple that could have been knockdowns.

Raheem's legs seemed really weak and he didn't seem as solid and steady throughout, which probably led to him losing those close rounds.

Yeah in a way Freitas was effectively aggresive thats how the judge could have given one of the extra rounds to Freitas. On a second note it wasn't a huge robbery, just a very close fight.

You're crazy. Not a single one of those slips was even close to a knockdown. Raheem wasn't the only reason the holdings happened. It was a 2 way street. Freitas did nothing on the inside except punch and hold and Raheem lunged.

like lennox lewis said.....bending down and slipping over all the time doesn't help as the judges can take that for being hurt!

I thought neither guy was impressive.

But Raheem won that fight on my card. He landed more, and better punches.....had Freitas backing up as well.

He did alot of grabbing, but he fought a smart fight.

I don't know what the judges were thinking. Also you can't disregard the fact he was pretty aggressive(Raheem was).

Yep. Except Freitas was the one hurt....not Raheem.

Precisely, I think a draw would have been a better decision, but I dont think it was a robbery. It was a close fight.

Well on tv you can tell clearly that Raheem was never shaken. If anything he was avoiding the punches and slipped. I will say that the fight was probably really tough to score live.
