A workmate of mine knows Liam Smith + apparently he has been offered the Canleo fight

A friend of mine is friendly with the Smith family in Liverpool, having grown up with them and apparently Liam Smith will be fighting Canelo next.

Canelo has another thing coming if he thinks this will be an easy fight, and this has all the hall marks of a cherry pick gone wrong.

It would be the cherry on top if Canela got whipped silly by a largely unknown guy. The Smith's are no joke. Liam and Callum are world class fighters.

What do you guys think of this match up?

I think so man yeah, No one will fight Callum Smith, he's a killer and undefeated. Liam Smith is a good fighter too, undefeated also. Stephen Smith his other brother has fought the best comp and was narrowly beaten by Jose Pedeza and also knocked out by Lee Selby.

Only saw him once recently against John Thompson. He was out there looking for a fight I know that. Came in behind a high guard, walking in trying to land big shots. He got a nice KO. it might have some back and forth action, in the end Canelo has too much craft for him
