Comments Thread For: Casimero Gains Revenge, Knocks Out Ruenroeng To Win Flyweight Crown

Johnriel Casimero gained sweet revenge in the best possible way, scoring a 4th round knockout of Amnat Ruenroeng to win a portion of the flyweight crown Wednesday evening in Beijing, China.

A bout that threatened to become as ugly as the first fight quickly changed course when Casimero - a former junior flyweight titlist - twice dropped the previously unbeaten Ruenroeng. The latter of the two knockdowns came courtesy of a left hook to the body, crumpling the long-reigning titlist from Thailand to bring an end to the bout - and his reign - at 2:10 of round four.

By far the best win at Flyweight for a while

Estrada and Gonzales need to step up their game.

amnat had a good run for such an old flyweight

i think his success was pretty dependent on permissive referees though

F.UCK YEAH!! That's how the first fight should have gone, if not for Ruenroeng's bull**** tactics.

Cong**** to Casimero for getting revenge on that lowlife.

Had Ruenroeng in control of the fight taking the first three rounds. Happy for Casimero though. Justice for the farce of a first fight.

Cong**** to Casimero, and it's about time someone stopped Ruenroeng. Ugly fights with the aid of the ref is no way to conduct yourself as champion. I'm sure Casimero's phone is off the hook right now with Estrada and Gonzalez's people trying to call.

He did get outboxed in fairness until he had those couple of shots in the 4th.

Reckon he gives Chocolatito one of the easiest nights he's had in a while.

cant find the fight at youtube yet

don't think amnat would be easy for anyone even for Gonzales but based on this result , its hard not to pick roman by stoppage
