He goes on a campaign to try to repair his rep. IMO though the only way to do that is manning up and fighting GGG. Not everyone is like me though so I'm sure he'll still have tons of fans and make boatloads of money

Khan would dominate canelo at 156

Just go back and watch the first fight in slow motion. Khan was definitely weight drained

                    Canelo vs andrade
                    Canelo vs either charlo

Those fights would take the heat off of canelo for not fighting gennady.

But we all know it's gonna be rosado or Lemieux. Both loss to GGG by the way

Where he goes immediately from here should give us an indication of where he intends to go in the near future. He claims not to be a 160lb fighter (reports that he enters the ring between 170 - 180lbs make that look very dubious) so the only reason to be fighting in that division is as preparation for Golovkin. If he fights Lemieux next then he's dangling the carrot.

Fighting a man that usually operates at 147lb in the interim bout he'd requested indicates that he had no intention of fighting GGG as mandated. If the above report of him sounding Smith out is correct then, in Mexico, they clearly do "**** around". Despite his invitation, nobody will be touching his balls any time soon.

He played his Get Out Of Jail Free Card against Lara the first time around so I don't see him going back. Plus Oscar never wanted the fight in the first place. Bradley's a possible shout. Good boxer, good name, seemingly durable but has probably been there for the taking since the Provodnikov fight. Could well be the first man to stop him which would continue Golden Boy's marketing strategy of making him look like a more exciting puncher than he is.

If it's not Golovkin though he continues on in the shame and embarrassment that he's cloaked himself in. Which is largely inconsequential to his handlers as long as we continue to tune it. . . . Which we almost certainly will.
