WBC MW Tournament - winner vs GGG

World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman is suggesting a tournament of top middleweights to find a challenger for WBC middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin, extending an invitation to the world Boxing Association and the International Boxing Federation.

Mauricio said:"I think this would be very interesting to discuss with the WBA and the IBF, as we are trying to come up with a procedure to find the next mandatory challenger. This is only an idea and a proposal. We don't know the status of the other two organizations."

Concerning the possibility of Saul "Canelo" Alvarez fighting Gennady Golovkin somewhere in time, Mauricio said:"I'm sure they will

fight eventually. It's a fight which represents the best of Boxing today. I hope they come to am agreement."

As for Canelo's decision Mauricio said: "I'm not in a position to judge anyone. I respect his decision and his promoter's decision."

They dont even know what to do anymore to force these fighters into the ring with Gennady. Ward moved up to Light Heavy Weight LMAO!! Canelo moving down to welterweight. Cotto moving way down to fight Marquez. They are all dead scared of Gennady, it is unbelievable. This is why Gennady is already being considered as the greatest fighter of all time, this is unlike anything seen before in the history of sports.

Wtf with this WBC guy always trying to setup tournaments. Great in Jan 2018 GGG will have a contender to fight. Til then you would probably just hem up his best choices or it'll be such a bs tournament it'll be a guy that feels like the standard IBF mandatory anyway so it'll mean lil. Someone needs to stop this WBC guy already. Holy f#ck he's annoying.
