That's Richie Woodhall as one of the announcers/analyst, who lost to Roy Jones in the 1988 Olympic semi-final. Good guy, Richie.Comment

I thought Richie gave Roy Jones a close fight at the Olympics, from memory. He should of taken the fight with Jones in 1993 that he was offered, he said he wasn't ready yet but when you get offered a world title shot on a plate like that it's hard to turn down.Originally posted by Aztecai love richie. he's one of my personal all time favs. very skilled fighter.
Who knows what Richie would of achieved if it wasn't for the terrible shoulder injury he suffered, he definately would of beaten Quincy Taylor and Keith Holmes. I liked Richie a lot too - classy, sharp boxer. And he was an extremely hard trainer before the injury.Last edited by JuicyJuice; 04-29-2006, 12:52 AM.Comment
