who does eubabk jnr fight and why

I was just wondering everyones opinion on who eubank jnr will fight next, after doran . After snubbing a world title shot vs jacobs in favor of a british title fight against blackwell and fighting for matchroom again im just wondering who everybody thinks are in the pipeline for eubank.

You might want to read up on the recent boxing news. He already has an opponent.

I think Eubank could end up fighting GGG next potentially. As long as Eubank & Eubank Sr aren't bsing & K2 doesn't get a better option + would entertain Eubank as their next challenger even through he still feels like a prospect more than a contender. Don't hate the fight either. I think GGG is obviously entertaining, I think Eubank is entertaining. I think it'd be fun. I don't think Eubank walks away with a W here & I could understand the argument its "too soon" as fighters much more seasoned then Eubank are claiming, but I'm a fan of this happening in September.

I would like to see this fight, i think ggg wins but it would be nice to see a fighter not afraid to get in close.

My problem is even though hearn is insisting eubank wants ggg, surely hed have taken the jacobs fight to put himself in better position to set it up. Too many fighters using gggs name to gain attention with no intention of fighting him

Im trying to sum up what eubanks plan is. I cant see a saunders rematch likely. Possibly could get jacobs then ggg??

Hmmm yea I didn't think about the Hearn angle. Not sure how I feel about that. Hearn could wanna hold back on that. Although Hearn has shown more ability then most promoters in matching his guys up tough. Maybe GGG is too tough doe. Also its notable that the Eubank's aren't the typical fighter/manager. They already left Hearn in the dust recently & I got no doubt they'd do it again if Hearn goes against their wishes or falls short in anyway so I think I'd learn towards Hearn having little to no impact on a GGG fight happening or not happening.

The BJS rematch won't happen any time soon as BJS is a Warren fighter.

Having said that, this Eubank deal is only for 3 fights, so it's not like Eddie Hearn will be guiding him like he does his own fighters, he would want the fights that will help his own agenda while not pissing off Snr. Or maybe he won't care and feel Eubanks name is enough to add that glamour to a card.

It'll be interesting to see who is next after Doran. Adam Etches perhaps

I actually don't blame him for snubbing that Jacobs fight its a very dangerous one an opponent who Eubank Jr he has never fought someone who hits as hard maybe they just want to get a crack at GGG first and they don't want to risk losing to someone who has that one punch KO style.

Exactly why i am struggling to see eubanks plan. Because i cant see the advantage of going back to hearn.

I disagree with Hearn setting up tough matches for his fighters, if its for a world title and its the best hand on the table he will take the risk. But after that he uses them as a cash cow. Look at brook, obviously he got stabbed but to me its a good excuse, think brook would have fought same opponents anyway. Then look at quigg didnt really have an easy draw however you look at it, so eddie took a risky but big money domestic fight. Joshua will fight easy opposition ubtil he has to fight better At least frank warren let his fighters fight tough fights and the fights they wanted, which is why hes second best now.

Only reason i can think they gone with eddie is because they can pull a bigger audience and more money off sky to sell themselves as a more lucrative opponent

I wish people would stop with the Eubank fighting GGG next, Eubank isn't fighting GGG anytime soon. That fight would be talked about but would never happen until GGG turns 37ish, I saw this with Hatton when he talked about fighting Tsyzu back in 2001 when Tsyzu was facing Judah. Hearn would never put Eubank in there with GGG until they feel he has a chance at dethroning him.

The way I see it, Eubank wants to make a steady progress up the ranking like Tyson fury did then by the time he gets more fights under his belt he would go after whoever is at top at that time.
