Gotta love how GGG critics want to bash him over 1 ppv event...If you're going to judge a boxer's draw according to their 1st ppv event, then you might as well stop following boxing. I remember only one Ward fight during that whole time period....and it was at 172 lbs. Which is, as I'm sure you know Deshaunte', higher than 168 lbs

I'm certain Ward wanted the fight at 168 and still held a 168 title at the time.

He only has 1 ppv because he failed and is back fighting bums on regular HBO.

I think Canelo gives Golovkin a harder time than we expect. However, Golovkin would still be the rightful favorite in that fight.

You think so? Imo i think people are confusing canelos skills/talent with his hype. I mean danm, Con was making him look foolish up until the ko. Ginger didnt throw enough jabs and like always following the opponent instead of cutting of the ring. No head or body movement. Only advantage i give canelo is speed and not by much

Both Canelo and GGG are just media creations. Canelo ' s career has all been about fighting small boys from lower weights. GGG has also been fighting nobodies. There are many 154 lbs fighters Canelo could have fought but he's being protected. GGG clearly ducked Ward so really the so called big fight isn't even big.

You can't duck a guy who's does not fight in your weight division. Ward is now 2 weight divisions bigger...by signing that HBO contract to fight at 175, he himself blocked the GGG bout from happening...he could have easily fought 3 named 168 fighters & stayed at 168 to wait for that bout to happen...but he went to 175 anyway. That's on Ward & his team. The blame can't be, in any way, placed on GGG. Only GGG critics will bring Ward up every time GGG's name is mentioned. Go watch the HBO piece on GGG/Rosado...& come back & tell us all what GGG said to Ward the first time we met...those were the words of a boxer who is game to fight.

One of the biggest PPV flops ever. His fans were predicting 500k before the fight.
