Ward and Kovalev have an agreement with each other and HBO to fight but you don't think the fight will happen. Ward has pulled out of 1 fight in his career due to injury and I can't recall Kovalev pulling out of any signed fights so please let us know the reasons behind your thinking.

That's a pipe dream. First of all, the UFC does not allow their fighters to compete outside of the UFC while under contract. Secondly the Nevada comission would not sanction a boxing match between Mayweather and McGregor due to Mayweather's extensive boxing resume and McGregor's lack of boxing experience. A boxing match between Mayweather and McGregor would only be an exhibition at best. One anonymous journalist booking a room in Vegas on the 2nd largest boxing weekend is no way, shape or form evidence of a mythical and hypothetical boxing match between a retired boxer and a UFC fighter who are both incredibly media savvy. The only way they're fighting each other is on a WWE PPV.

Heard on a radio station this morning out of Atlanta that A sports writer has already booked his room for Vegas for September 17th. Why? He says on good authority Mayweather-McGregor will be on that date. If that is true then i bet this is a reason Floyd is trying to advise Canelo not to take that fight now. If true Floyd is a B****. Remember Floyd was always arguing that Cinco de Mayo was his date and Canelo would have to earn that date. What a hypocrite if true. On the other hand, Mayweather is undefeated through 5 divisions having defeated around 23-26 former/current world champions in his last 32 fights. Chavez is a legend but there's a difference.

Difference is that Stevenson did not have a HBO contract and no signed agreement to face anyone. That's how Showtime was able to swoop in and bring Stevenson over to their network. The same cannot be said about Ward. Also lets not forget that Kovalev's team got Kovalev named Stevenson's mandatory opponent but then pulled out when it went to purse bid.

He had 36 world title fights through like 4 divisions and was 27 and 0 in that title run streak. So don't say he didn't fight anyone. He at least put himself in harms way to win and i imagine Mayweather held more in his last 3 fights than Chavez did his whole career.

Actually Chavez fought about 19 former/current world champions in his 115 career fights while Mayweather fought and beat about 23 in his last 32 career fights. Mayweather fought and beat his 1st world champion, Genaro Hernandez, in 1998 when he was 17-0. There's a difference between Mayweather facing and beating 23 champions through 5 divisions in 32 fights and Chavez going 18-4 through 4 divisions in 115 career fights. Both are legends but only 1 of them is the only undefeated 5 division champion.

bro...Mayweather has more wins over champions than a guy with double the fights....He has fought more taxi drivers, no names, and bums than Mayweather has total fights. How can a guy with 60+ fights be in their with guys on pro debuts, less than 20 fights and losing records. They'd have roasted Mayweather for fighting the bums Chavez did


Chavez is overrated as hell and was never p4p. Whitaker clearly beat him, outboxed him and beat him inside. Taylor got screwed cause the ref was paid off by Don king(just kidding but the stoppage was bull****) and didnt he have a loss removed when he was fighting mexican taxi drivers.

His team waited til camacho slowed down, they didnt want none at 130 and 135 when he was blazing fast with power. He was past prime and a defensive fighter by the time they fought.

At the end of the day, not a single fan cares about how many ppvs it pulled. They care about the action of the fight. I know, its weird right?
