He's confident they can. Is he confident they will?

Supposedly things will be getting lined up for the last of the guys to make the Olympics this week & thru til early June. And I've yet to hear any non-APB guy making a move towards that leap.

I propose we as fans metaphorically sign a pact to shame, hate, refuse to watch, and relentlessly troll on social media any well-established professional fighter who enters the Olympics.

This crushes the dreams of all these young up & coming kids who've worked everyday since they were 8 years old for this moment only to have it snatched away by older guys who've already made plenty of money and just want a hood ornament on their résumé that eluded them in their amateur days.

Not only is a medal something the young guys have been dreaming of forever, but it's also the ticket to a lucrative pro contract. Promoters pay A LOT more to an Olympic medalist.

I liked this Kuo guy at first because he eliminated headgear and brought back the 10-point must system, but he's no different from King, Arum, Haymon, and all these other greedy ****s who've had dreams of taking over pro boxing. When will they all learn that nobody has ever successfully monopolized this sport and no one ever will?

Side note: I always liked Pac but if he fights in Rio he's ****ing dead to me.

Yeah it's fucking disgusting. How wrapped up in their own bull**** does a fighter need to be to not see how fucked up this is?

I understand where you are coming from, but the writing is on the wall. The Olympics aren't amateur already for many sports (I don't know enough about other sports to say most, but that could be the case, or some high %). There are already countries who's amateur boxing program is basically a paid amateur program now & its been that way. Boxing will either be phased out completely or pros will be phased in like it or not. Thats just the reality of whats coming that I think people are ignoring.

LOL also thats harsh with Manny.
