Vanes was exactly 170 according to the tale of the tape...
Lara looked so small next to him... Lara is a good fighter but every fight looks exactly the same..throw a one-two then run around for 20 seconds, rinse and repeat... He could have made a statement Saturday but bored everyone to a 7-5,8-4 decision as usual...zzzzzzzz

Except fight night weights are determined on HBO/SHOWTIME scales and not word of mouth.

the same proof we have before, the broadcasters mentioned... And when they do is because the fighters agreed to jump on the scale for the network.

since the canelo fight Lara has come in Lighter looks skinny as hell it's a fact that he was 160lb fight night.

I don't believe it's accurate, unless Lara did something way different in his preparation, b/c in the past he's come in much heavier. Vs Ishe Smith, Lara's rehydration was 170.5lbs. He was also upset about the rehydration clause he had to follow for the Angulo fight.

''First, I want to explain that a person came to us and told us clearly that on fight night I couldn't get into the ring with more than 10 pounds over the weight limit of our division. For that reason, we only went up to the limit of 164 pounds, but we were surprised that Angulo weighed 174 pounds that night, indicating to us that the 10 pound limit was only for Erislandy Lara. We had no written clause to talk about this weight limit, but they told us that and we followed this instruction'' Lara said. ''Another thing is that both Angulo and me, we are both big junior middleweight and what surprised me was the ring size.''
It's nearly been a week since Cuba's Erislandy Lara defeated Alfredo "El Perro" Angulo in Carson, California; when Angulo refused to continue in the tenth round. Now the new WBA interim super welterweight world champion talks to BoxingScene.com about some of the things that happened before and after the fight with Angulo. "First, I want to explain that a person came to us and told us clearly that on fight night I couldn't get into the ring with more than 10 pounds over the weight limit of our division. For that reason, we only went up to the limit of 164 pounds, but we were surprised that Angulo weighed 174 pounds that night, indicating to us that the 10 pounds limit was only for Erislandy Lara. Agree. Lara's win was not convincing. Should have been a draw IMHO. Boring fight.

he clearly looked lighter/skinny in the Rodriguez and Vanes rematch compared to how he looked against Canelo and Ishe anyone that thinks otherwise is blind.
