well, considering Peter's fight with Klitscko, he needed a soft touch....Shannon Briggs would be a good fight for him, but it seems Briggs is fighting Ray Austin for the WBC Number 1 ranking in the fall!

what is the point of training for a fight like that?? peter may as well fight on TV once a week if this is how its gonna be. id like to watch the tape in slow motion, im almost positive that long went down the first time before the punch even hit him. it looked as if he just cowered to the ground when he saw peter wind up the overhand right. the second one didnt land either, he took a fall, what a joke.

          For christs sake.

Who was he supposed to fight in his second fight back from his first loss against the best the division has to offer?

Because it was like a tuneup and it wasn't supposed to really turn heads. I also don't know why everyone thought Long was this tank....that was going to survive the distance.

No one thought that but a contender who has fought for the belt should not be fighting such weak competion.

After such a performance against Wlad he needs to keep his opposition level high. This fight was a waste of his time and his gain of weight between fights makes his conditioning looked suspect. If he wants to beat Wlad in a re-match he needs to step up the opposition and start working on his fitness...otherwise Klitschko will kill him.
