Comments Thread For: Shannon Briggs: I'm Knocking David Haye Out Cold in a Round

Shannon Briggs is confident that the British public will take him into their hearts after his next fight. The former WBO heavyweight world champion, who stopped late stand-in Emilio Ezequiel Zarate inside a round at London's O2 Arena on Saturday, will face David Haye in September.

Haye will win a boring 12-round decision as neither fighter engages much...

Boxing has now become a hoax: clinch and run sport.

Boxing is still living off the past and trying to promise fans exciting fights when all we get is mismatches and decisions by fighters who run and clinch...

The ******* fans have gotten so bad, they now encourage ducking as fan boys...

Briggs is doing a great job of hyping his fights and getting to a payday.

This is the end of the road for Shannon Briggs.

He's going to take 3 punches for every punch he tries to land.

And if he weathers that storm, he still won't have the speed to catch Haye.

Briggs will be hard to KO.

He is slow but damn strong, even at 44.

I think Hate wins a UD, in a boring fight.

Briggs gets stopped inside of 6 rounds.

This still not confirmed yet? Maybe they're both still holding out for a call from Hearn after the Joshua fight. Don't think they should be too hopeful.
