  • Better to watch, and who would you want to be, Foreman or Tyson?

If you had to be one fighter physically inside the ring, who would it be, George Foreman or Mike Tyson?

Foreman is 6'3 1/2, and looked good around 225lbs, kind of like Superman's measurements ...Foreman had the ability physically to come in heavier and still have the ability to win.
George was a moster of a man, full of power in every punch, with a great chin. The problem with him was that he was never taught how to BOX properly...how to throw those punches...how to pace himself...taught that he didn't have to throw everything into every punch...but if you take George mentally in his second career, add that to what he was physically in his first, that would be a dangerous man.
Maybe a trainer that fit him perfectly.

Tyson was about 5'11, fast and powerfull, and could throw combinations like a middle-weight. He was explosive from the gate and just exciting to watch throughout the fight.

    Now, to the questions

    (1) If you had to be one of these two men physically, who would you be?
{remember, you can train anyway you want, you don't have to be a mess like the young Foreman, you could train in a style different that fits a big man, maybe like Kostya Tszyu/Wlad.

    (2) If you had to watch one of the two men, Prime Tyson or Prime Foreman, who would it be?

    (3) Who do you think the fans like to watch, the big S.O.B. or the smaller, but aggressive power punching Tyson?

(4)WHAT'S THE PERFECT HEIGHT AND WEIGHT FOR A HEAVYWEIGHT FIGHTER?

    (5) What if you could come to a comprimise on mixing the two fighters, Tyson-Foreman...Height: 6'1 1/2; Weight: 225-232lbs;
Power of Foreman; Speed of Tyson; Style, ??????? a mix

4+5 are bad questions so ill skip them

    1-3) TYSON.
    1) I would love to be Tyson. He is THE MAN. hes powerful, He's quick, and he makes a lot of money. His style is also very entertaining, as he throws TONS of power shots. Just like what i would like to do

2)Now i would love to watch another fight of EITHER fighter in their prime, but Tysons fights were a tad more entertaining. Mostly because I knew a lot about each of Tysons opponents, and little about Foremans opponents. OF coarse i know ALI, but that wasnt as entertaining as, say, Tyson Lewis. most will prolly disagree with me their though lol.

3)ANd again, fans of today would rather watch Tyson cause they know him and his opponents better. As exciting and fun to watch and Foreman was, the majority of his opponents arent well known to the casual fan of today.

I'd much rather be Foreman. He had a style that ensured him longevity and had more heart and physically he had the superior proportions. Tyson, who was really about 5'9" or 5'10", went sour pretty soon after he lost his head movement. Foreman was always a force because of his incredible natural strength, toughness, and courage.

I would rather be Foreman, because he had an afro once and didn't piss away his money like Tyson.

I don't like to be either, but, confining premises to what they used to do inside the ring, I liked watching the prime Tyson. He was quicker.

Edit: I should have said, the "pre-Douglas Tyson".

1.A combination of Foreman pre Ali and comebacking Foreman. 2.I love watching a fighter than can come back from almost certain defeat and knock out his opponet. 3.I love watching the Foreman that crushed Frazier and stopped the iron chinned Chuvalo. 4.6'4 230lbs. 5.A mix of Foreman-power and granite chin and Tyson's speed.
