The number I saw reported was £2.2M which is roughly $3M US.

That said, Saunders did say on March 31, that he was offered $1.5M not $4M. Thats the first I heard of the $4M figure.

This guys is exactly right!!!!! Things have to be called for what they are, vacating the belt like this is just a very cowardly thing to do. Nothing more to say about it. Plus this fight needs to "maringate" LOL, chickens need to marinate you twat, this fight is NOW.

I now see what type of "man" canelo is, after all his talk about golovkin not "deserving" the fight and the rest of his garbage. He simply is waiting for golovkin to slow up and a better time for him, thats what his types do

        Mexican coward

BJS is right about Canelita, but then again a real tough ***** would ´ve fought GGG just for a brand new caravan.. but seriously, who´s BJS going after, Alvarez or Golovkin? I hope it´s Golovkin or we might be back to Alvarez holding a belt hostage, this time without mandatory GGG. That would pretty much destroy the "undisputed" plan for Golovkin.

I heard it was actually $1m, which is about £700k maybe...

Sounds about right really, Considering GGG gets about $2m a fight, or was making that or even less when they offered Saunders the fight.

Whatever the offer was, it was less than he got to fight Andy Lee and Eubank Jr. and a possible rematch with Eubank which was on the cards at the time was worth more than that.

Really, Saunders made 1m+ vs Lee and Eubank? Links?

Yesterday it was Haye, today this guy....

Have these Brits lost their sense of irony?

But of course I agree with him. Canelo has no shame.

Canelo just vacated the Green Belt to hide from one European. LMFAO at Mexico. Ginger Exposed!

Ah, how sweet. You still think Canelo is going to fight GGG. Pffft!

They didn't ask for extension, they just vacated. That says they have no plans at all of fighting GGG.
