I like Billy Joe. Proper character, has me creasing up through most of his interviews - every other sentence starts with "listen… listen mate… mate… listen 'ere". I think he's pissed with Canelo cos he fancied his chances in a unification fight - as do I. Yeh, he talks a lot of bollocks and you can tell he's on the wind up (like his mate Tyson) most of the time, but he's seriously underrated as a boxer and though he'd probably lose to GGG I reckon he'd give the Kazakh more to think about than anyone else has done so far.

Every word Saunders said is true. Now, will he have the cajones to step up and face GGG himself? That fight can be made easily if he doesn't try to price himself out. The situation at middleweight is getting desperate. Golovkin is obviously the top guy, but the other top guys are terrified of him. So we're left with GGG having to fight meaningless fights. Canelo and Jacobs are not going to fight Golovkin. Not now, not ever. So Saunders is the best possible option.
