    Another solid test.

They should build this guy properly up to world level, they have plenty of time.

Even though he has a better resume now than Joshua, eye test says to me this is a bit too soon. Parker needs more seasoning.
although i think it'd be fun right now, i agree that it could be marinated a little. maybe until the middle of next year or so

but it seems like hearn is really into matching joshua against unbeaten prospects at the moment, so i won't be surprised to see this fight happen next after breazeale

Its not a terrible fight by any means. Who knows, Joshua could look equally poor vs a solid guy like Takam, but just my intuition says its too soon for Parker, whereas Josh looks a bit more polished at this stage.

I agree that this fight is likely for later this year. If it happens and Parker loses, I definitely wouldnt be writing him off as a prospect

This will benefit Joshua not parker so I hope it happens .I like parker but hes not going to be Aj level and I want to see true competitive fights and AJ can give them against anyone.Have to love the "MYTH" theories surrounding Aj, I cant recall such a vast majotity in the boxing world questioning such talent and hoping a fighter loses as much...lol

I think changing of the guard in old school fans are being replaced with jealous ones and just plain nationalist ones .I remember a guy named Mike Tyson that literally crushed everyone within one round usually ,now you have a similar guy and he is getting slack for it.

Parker hardly looked stellar against Takam, he showed flaws such as the lack of head movement, but he passed the test and showed he could think again and come through it.
Joshua hasn't faced a fighter on the level of Takam yet, and in my eyes, his movement looks poor, he carries little to no body fat and beyond the power I wouldn't everything on him knowing what to do when his power approach doesn't work.
Right now I might bet against Parker beating Joshua, but I'm not sold on Joshua being the complete package, not by a long, long way.

What happens if these two guys fight? I still don't know a lot about Parker yet.

At the moment I'd favour Joshua to knock Parker out, and I'm primarily a Parker fan, just to make that clear. Parker's still got a really bad habit of pulling back with his chin in the air and it's got him tagged on more than one occasion, against lesser fighters than Takam. He also doesn't seem to have worked out his distancing yet. His footwork and ring generalship are all over the place, and he frequently throws from either too far out of too close in. Doesn't do enough work off the jab as well. Lots of flaws which Joshua would exploit mercilessly.

On the plus side, he has ridiculous speed for a heavyweight and throws punches in bunches with real venom. Also seems to be a very keen learner, which, provided he takes a few more experience building fights, can see him improve tremendously. He has great physical tools. Just needs to learn how to use them effectively.
