Good, I hope as well, he's donevmore than enough for the fans who enjoy the sweet science with bitter violence.

I'll definitely miss him, one of the best of his generation.

Does anyone know when a Senator takes office in the Philippines? If its immediately or before the Olympics fair enough he shouldn't go, but if Senate season doesn't start til after the Olympics I don't see a problem. And maybe if there is some overlap with the Olympics & Senate season starting maybe it doable too idk.

I personally think Manny has lil idea of what this means or would take & isn't really in prep mode for fighting at the Olympics so I suspect this won't even happen, but I still got lil to no problem if it did. If Olympic boxing doesn't start using pros boxing will be weeded out from the Olympics sooner or later. So the future of Olympic boxing depends on guys like Manny coming back to the Olympics.

PAC be the Man! Be there for the people who elected you!

If you thought boxing was dirty, welcome to politics. Surround yourself with solid advisers and good people.

            Good for you Manny.

Funny how Floyd is the bad guy, but Pacman accepts suitcases of money, makes mean-spirited comments about gays, rips of the public against PBF by boxing with one shoulder and now intends to pick up a cheap medal by beating up on novices.....I have no doubt the Filipinos are proud....having a professional Pac ass kisser like the author makes me appreciate real, first-world boxing journalists, of which there are many all over the world

I'm sure he does. One less fighter Arum can market in the fighters home country and fail miserably *cough*ZouSiming*cough* if Pacquiao were to win the gold medal.
