    Point is, it's a winnable fight for Gennady against one of the top guys around his division. Lara would be unquestionably the best opponent Golovkin has faced and a convincing win WOULD indeed earn him kudos.

    It certainly is more credible than a Dominic Wade or whatever other bum he plans to trot out next.

            Agree. The biggest problem GGG would have with Lara is catching him. He'd be running like he did with Canelo. Once GGG gets to him it would be lights out for Lara.

                Even if Lara was in the same weight division, and even if he didn't fight on a rival tv channel..interest wanes when he is competitive with guys like Vanes.

                Golovkin would walk through him.

                    What??? Canelo just had the opportunity... He opted to drop the belt and run. With Lara it's very simple - fight someone ranked at MW and than you have a chance to get KO'ed by GGG.
