Larios' promoter, Mendoza, has been bad-mouthing Morales and Barrera since he stepped on Philippine soil, hasn't he? He said both are weak punchers and called both slow, adding that Barrera had avoided Larios all along.

I've often enough heard of Mexican rivalries before where Mexicans knocked fellow-Mexican rivals, often on regiol grounds (e.g., Mexico City fighters--of which MAB is one--versus pugs from the North, as Morales is) or Mexican-Americans against homegrown Mexicans, but scantly does one hear about Mexicans putting down two Mexican greats! For me, this is the first time.
