Gomez/Sosa was close I thought it should have been a draw. Gomez was rusty but that was expected after being off for so long. I think Gomez should fight a guy like Cano next. Sosa looked much better than he did in the Sanchez fight. Not sure what judge thoughts that Gomez won 8 of the 10 rounds. But Sosa hopefully gets another opportunity.
Golden Boy has some interesting prospects at welterweight. It should be interesting to see what direction they go wih Gibson, Ellis, Gomez, and Ali. All very talented but have big question marks.
Maldonado fight was a draw. Not sure where he goes from here.
Ballard is going to be a force. I think he should fight for a regional belt by the end of the year.
Last Aguirre and Navarro look very promising. They should fight on this series of fights every few months. Both guys have very good tools to work with.
