I'd buy it, the two best in the division going at it. Why not?

Nope. Hopefully it goes to purse bid and the PBC wins it and put it on free tv.
Exclusive HBO contracts are not bigger than the sport.

It's a great fight to make and I would pay PPv money to watch..

The problem with boxing is everyone is concerned about PPV fighters like manny or floyd in mismatches instead of being concerned with PPv caliber fights like kovolev-Ward, crawford-postal, ggg-Jacobs, roman-Estrada, etc

I would buy but this fight really shouldn't be on PPV. It's a good fight that belongs on HBO Championship Boxing.

Bet your ass it is. I'd pay every penny for it.

Jacobs takes him out in the ring then takes him out of that top MW spot

GGG right now is on top of the sport. He sells out these venues, but the PPV market is almost dead now after the May Pac Fiasco. People want GGG Canelo and not Jacobs. Jacobs isn't really a big draw but with the rumors of that low HBO budget it might have to be on PPV.

I'd buy this fight in a heartbeat. it would be a PPV event with low appeal to mainstream, maybe does a smidge better than the GGG/Lemieux (DJ is more widely known).

I would buy it, but it's a fringe PPV at best...

If they do it in the fall, perhaps a co main event... Something to promote a unification, like Saunders vs Eubank Jr in a dual continent PPV???
Perhaps some Middleweight drama like Lemieux vs Lara ???

The point is, they could use this as an opportunity to set the table... Otherwise, Jacobs alone is not going to draw...

haha no way Haymon would put it on free tv, and lose 6 or 7 million bucks getting GGG a win over one of his top fighters

As for GGG-Jacobs being "ppv worthy". that depends on who you ask. I'd buy it without a doubt.

                      Golovkin isn't a ppv fighter
