When people hear the name Vargas, they say, "Who"?

Goodluck to Vargas though, hope he pulls off the upset.

I would actually laugh if Brook lost to a feather fisted, career light welterweight
It is a PPV fight and will go to an outdoor stadium fight.

We know you hope it will happen. Reality is that Vargas is a better welterweight than any welterweight Khan has beaten.

Goodluck with that, like i said they will need to stack up the card, Groves, Degale, Whyte, Luke Campbell

You remember what happened in Brooks last PPV? the crowd started walking out midway through the fight, while others booe'd. They only came to see Jousha.

Vargas is a C level boxer at best, on par with Chris Algieri

You and Dirk were the first to criticize Khan for mentioning Vargas in a tweet last year as a potential opponent. So now Vargas is a beast? Stay consistent mate

      LMAO

      You kids crack me up

This should be a routine fight for Brook, if he loses, i will be shocked, Vargas can't hurt a fly

Regardless, there's one guy ducking. One guy who doesn't want it.

And you can hide behind the money, but you and I both know Khan is scared of Brook.
You don't even know his payday, and why has it taken until the twilight of his career.

It just proves he accomplished nothing before this.

They stack Joshua's cards with those guys too? So what?

Yeah that didn't happen. it's complete bs.

Vargas is a champion at WW, so no. he's not.

I never did that. But was Vargas a champion then? No.

Do I think it's a great fight? No. But it's a good fight for two belts and a chance for Brook to fight on PPV and on HBO in front of millions of viewers.

Well Vargas said Brook was getting more than 50-50 and his final purse is 1.7million dollars according to ESPN.

So at the very least Brook is getting the same. Again, so what?

Talking about another man's money is cringey, and it's just an excuse.

As I said, you and I both know why Khan doesn't want Brook.

Are you honestly comparing the nations sweetheart Jousha to Kell Brook?

The reason why they stack Jousha's cards because other matchroom fighters get exposure.

The reason why they stack Brooks cards is because nobody knows who Brook is.

Being a paper champion means nothing, Vargas is on par with Chris Algieri, face it mate. If Vargas and Algieri fought, it would be a 50/50 fight, some even favoring Algieri.

I'm not criticizing Brook for taking this fight, he gets to steal a title off a c level boxer, who is really a blown up Light Welterweight.

              By the way

              Devon Alexander>>>Vargas

              Collazo>>Vargas

              Chris Algieri = Vargas

Right, so if they stack a card for Joshua or Froch it's because they are nice to the fighters, but if they do it for Brook it's because they need it? Listen, they know people hate PPV. Regardless of it it's Josh or Brook or whoever. So they're giving a good package deal, whoever it is.

lol. Algieri literally has 0 wins at welterweight. Vargas beat Sadam Ali who's a decent fighter.

Alexander is a sack of crap and Collazo was 1 year removed from being an alcoholic. Impressive stuff.

Jousha is a Olympian, and a HW and looks like a million $'s, he has star factor

Brook is some kid from Sheffield, who sounds like Leigh Francis but without the banterjuice. He's not Prince Naz.

Algieri is on par with Vargas, truthfully he'd beat Vargas.

Alexander was a sold champion, with great wins and Vargas wouldnt go through his resume without losing multiple times.

Collazo would also beat Vargas. He had Thurman on ***** street and we all know Thurman would walk through Vargas.

We're not disagreeing that Joshua is a bigger star. That's obvious. But when they announced Brezeale, people were pissed that it was PPV. So it's the same scenario. They put on Groves/murray and now Eubank jr too. Because they need to sell that to the public, not to give these fighters exposure.

Truthfully, Algieri wouldn't do *** all. Khan fought those bums when they had already been beaten. At least Vargas has only been beaten by Bradley. two weight world champ just like Alexander.

Its not the same scenario, the hardcores were pissed, the casuals don't care

the casuals know who Jousha is because of his Olympic fame and his big domestic tear up with Whyte. The casuals have no clue who Brook is. He's never been in a major fight, thats why Brook needs no 2 ranked Khan so much.

Algieri vs Vargas is a 50/50 fight, put the title to one side, it's a 50/50 fight, we may see it in the future

Alexander has fought some tough comp, Vargas has 1 good win on his record, Lopez, which was 6 years ago at LWW.

Its an insult to put Vargas over Devon, given all the tough fights Alexander has fought
