Good win for Charlo. He made some adjustments mid-fight and started getting much more aggressive and forced the TKO after landing a great placed power shot.

I think it's because the style he chose for this bout is antithetical to his usual style. At least he got the stoppage, but yeah, he might want to learn how to cut off the ring for next time. Could you imagine him having to chase Lara around the ring?

Right, and Lara's straight left's are much more effective than anything Jackson has. Jermell needs to learn to set up his shots, he kept throwing the same punches. No faints, barely jabbing, no body work. He looked lost for most of the fight before he landed the home run shot.

Unfortunate for Jackson, he has skills but I dont think he can take the shots at this level. Too bad because I loved his dad and i was hoping for 2.0. Obviously we will never see anyone like the Hawk again.

I said it before, Charlo should not have changed trainers. He's not the right guy for Charlo. He was looking for a big shot all night, it came. But if it didn't, he would have lost. HE never looked for the big shot under Shields.

Nice for him to admit that he was down in the fight.
