No matter what any fighter says (Lara wants to fight GGG) or does (Ward sending offer) the only excuse GGG fans will accept is that someone is ducking him. Why not call Lara's bluff then?

his fight with molina was actually a draw, IIRC. he didn't do much at all to separate himself. had him beating williams by a lot, and he was green and showed balls in that fight dealing with that insane swelling. pretty decent win. but williams had been taking bombs in victory and defeat for years at that point. he was coming off of a knockout of the year loss to martinez at MW.

the canelo fight was damn close, and outside of the trout win you have to consider it his most valuable performance in terms of adding to his resume. but it was a loss. you can only call a fight a robbery when it is a robbery, and that fight just wasnt' a robbery.

so you're giving a lot of credit to lara for almost beating the guy who is avoiding golovkin like the plague [canelo.] a win over a significantly faded alfredo angulo. a draw to vanes. a decent win over austin trout. and a win [let's call it a win,] over the guy sergio martinez [who very blatantly ducked golovkin, and who arguably lost to murray, and who went to war with macklin, both of whom golovkin destroyed,] knocked totally unconscious in paul williams.
All fair points but you're missing what I'm getting at. Golovkin will beat Erislandy Lara in my opinion. My point is, he's a more than worthy opponent and will finally be a notable name for Golovkin to tote on his resume. With all the flaws that you want to pick at in Lara, he's still a far better fighter and opponent than anyone Golovkin has ever fought. Let's not escape that. Lara's better than most guys at 160 and he's bringing a solid resume and name with him when/if he enters that division. Let's not escape that.

Canelo has been fighting at 155 since his embarrassing loss to Floyd.
        Way to avoid my question.

Speaking of embarrassing loss, Pac had a bunch of embarrassing losses himself. One coming at the hands of Floyd. Guess that's why he pussed out of a fight with him for five years.

And you think 97K's loss to Ward would've been as embarrassing?

Screw it let GGG destroy Lara but the same fanboys that were talking trash saying "Why's GGG avoiding Lara" are then going to say "Lara's small doe"

I wouldn't be so sure. I mean the guy was getting dropped by freakin Angulo. lemieux is far tougher then Angulo. If Lara had that much trouble with Angulo, Lemieux would @160 Lemieux would finish him.

Where is all that now?
if you were fighting in a fight that would make tens of millions and you were the A side, im sure you would try to get every dollar you could, considering this is prize fighiting, you think fighters care about fans? no lol. are you going to pay their bills if they are damaged or hurt like cotto once said? lol no, you bums will just hop on the next fighter that gets a big win like i say in my sig.

                  Maybe, but Lemuix has beaten??????????

GGG beating Lara holds more weight than GGG beating Lemuix it's not even a debate!

Just have patience young'n, you're hero will have what's coming to him.

Party now Goloctards, the party will be over soon, just watch. Celebrate your moral victory, if that's what you see it as?

This reminds me of when the Pac turds were hanging onto the fantasy win over Floyd.

In the interim, one of those "ranked mandatories" are knocking on the door.

Junior Middlweight or not Lara's far better than anyone GGG has faced. More skilled, better resume. Small Lara is willing to move up. I pick GGG to win, but he would have finally beaten someone with a pulse! That's all we ask man, beat someone who is willing to fight you and that has actually done something in the sport of boxing!
