Usually, the purse-bid split between a WBC champion and mandatory challenger is 70-30 in favor of the titleholder. However, when a WBC champ faces a WBC interim titleholder the split is 55-45.

Im sorry you think a champion fighting his mandatory is boring. Many of us wish that Alvarez had only been so boring. But he was much more exciting avoiding his mandatory, pulling up a small fighter to his catchweight, and subsequently abandoning his title as MW champion. Im glad GGG is so boring as to fight and KO his challengers.

Beating Jacobs would put Lara in position to be GGG's WBA mandatory at MIDDLEWEIGHT. He could force this fight that you people think he wants .
Jacobs has had the belt since Aug 2014 and all Lara has done is talk.
