Those other countries aren't sending amateur players. They're sending their countries best. Plus the Euro leagues are all professionals and many of them played division 1 college ball and make the transition into the nba after years of hard work in Europe, China, Russia etc etc.

Olympic boxers are amateurs, with no other level yet known or experienced. You're sending an ATG, plus a guy that would still be a top 5-10 p4p fighter if he were still active against guys who most likely will never come close to his already claimed accolades. It's pathetic, bruh

I definitely don't want to see BOXING vs. mma because they are apples and oranges. Sure, a part of me wants Floyd to beat the hell out of Dana White's big mouth superstar, because they can't keep Floyd out of their mouths. Ronda Rousey was the worst. But Floyd kills McGregor in BOXING, and McGregor kills Floyd with mma rules.

To answer your question though, I'd watch Mayweather fight an mma fighter before watching an atg fight kids. I hate both ideas, but the Pacquiao in the Olympics is worse imo.

i don't really see the outrage for mayweather-mcgregor tbh. we all know it's not a legit boxing match, it's just a sideshow for the casuals like when ali "fought" that japanese wrestler. floyd doesn't hold any belts or anything so he can spend his retirement doing whatever he likes as far as i'm concerned, whether it's UFC, WWE or dancing with the stars
