    Whats Canelo's next move here

Okay I think its a fair assumption that Canelo won't be fighting GGG next despite GBP's contention that is still the plan. Strongly rooting for this to be proved wrong.

Anyway that likely being the case what exactly is the next move for Canelo?

Stay at 155 without a title?

Go to 154 & avoid all the top guys there?

Try to talk Chavez Jr into a diet & some catchweight fight at a TBD weight?

Announce that he's been a woman living in a mans body for his whole life & that he'll be getting gender reassignment surgery in the coming weeks before challenging Cecilia Braekhus to a 155lb catchweight fight in May 2017?

Whats the move to recover from this Rid**** Bowe-like moment?

The next move is to fight Golovkin in September.

There's no where else for him to go without getting heat, too much pressure for the fight to happen, most of the Khan build up was about GGG i doubt he wants to go through that again.

Good luck finding the answer to this. I've been asking all day and nobody has given me an answer. I keep hearing how great of a business move it is to look like a coward dropping the belt. Honestly I think his hardcore fans are living in a bubble. They don't see how bad Canelo looks right now. They're somehow convinced Canelo is like Floyd, he can just fight anyone and get massive PPV's. I wonder do they realize that the fight they clown Floyd for, Berto, did a better gate and just as many PPV's as Canelo-Khan. But Canelo got that big mega fight coming up in September against......????

I thought there was too much pressure for him to lose the title after his willing to fight GGG at 160 comment post-Khan, but that wasn't the case. I don't see how this fight is makeable later if it wasn't made already. What difference does a few more weeks make? They both need each other the same 2 days ago as they will 3 weeks from now.

If Alvarez doesn't fight Golovkin now, his chances of a catchweight will be nil.

I'm not sure where he goes from there, the question will be always popping up. "Why you duckin tson?"(in Thurman voice).

Maybe he'll go down to 154 and bring up another WW. I doubt he fights Charlos/Andrade/Lara. Cotto is still free.
