If he beat Degale then sure I'd agree, he should fight him but the guy lost and has looked terrible and when has he ever won a big fight honestly? He flashes skill and looks horrible sometimes in the same rounds...

Degale/Jack winner is the only one at 168 I wanna see after GGG unifies at 160 and fights Jacobs...
Dirrell brings much more prestige than a wade or monroe for one. And dont say money cause neither of those guys would bring in more.

And though i agree i would love to see him fight winner DeGale/Jack what has he done at 168 to deserve that shot? Many say Lara must move up or others must prove themselves in his division to get the fight so why does he get a pass. Lara is number 1 at 154 and if he wins this SAt then why does he need to beat someone to become mando if GGG doesnt?

Just a question that i see many float around

Cling onto Lara? I have listed many names and Lara just happens to be 1.

So know go back to the post you quoted and read the last sentence which should show you i know my opinion doesnt matter just like yours doesnt
He wasn't until last night -- but Canelo made him an ATG like that...

Come on, I know you know boxing and you're not one of these imbeciles on here...what has he done at 168? What does he have to do? He's one of the 4-5 most popular guys in the sport of boxing. He doesn't need to do anything to get a big fight if the other guy wants it.
I've said Lara should have moved up and fought Jacobs because that makes sense. Jacobs and Lara both are under Haymon, Jacobs is the mandatory. Lara beats Jacobs he can rightfully make a claim that GGG is ducking him... I'd love to see GGG demolish Lara myself but it's not happening..lmaybe Lara shouldn't have sprinted around the ring against Canelo, he would have won easily...
Lara should call out GGG this weekend on showtime after the fight during his in ring interview...forget Twitter that is run by his manager, let's hear it from his mouth in the ring...he showed up at Canelo's press conferences for Christ sakes so we know he knows how to get a fight when he really wants one...

Bottom line is we both know boxing is a business more than anything when you reach the level of a GGG...same way they didn't want to risk losing to Ward at 168 because it would derail his career. Canelo or more directly, GBP don't want GGG to destroy Canelo's career with a bad loss. The same reasons GGG would fight Froch and Chavez for huge money at 168 risk/reward....

I'm a fan of GGG! But unlike a lot here, I'm realistic and not just a nut hugger. I wanna see him tested, I'm sick of Wades and Monroes....I want Saunders,Jacobs,Canelo...that's it. There's no excuse for one of those 3 not being in front of him soon.unless none of the three want to fight him, then what can he do?

Guys like Jr are great for the sport. They talk smack and really want to back it up. That being said, he isn't nowhere near ready. He should go up the WBA champion ladder. Blanco, then Jacobs, and if he manages to get by Jacobs and that's a huge if, then he can take on the big boss, GGG.

Damn, Eubank is too brave for his own good. It's too early for Golovkin, he'd get outboxed and badly hurt.

He doesn't need to, he could start by calling Gggs people to try to make the fight. Then if that fails the mando route is logical. It wasn't beneath the much more popular, much higher p4p GGG. He just used than mando to strip superstar Canelo of his belt and dignity. But of course GGG wanted Canelo, while Lara has no desire to fight GGG hence the lack of initiative

Nope you are one that has always stated Lara needs to move up and gain the mando to get the GGG fight.

No I'm saying it's an option if they approach Gggs people and get denied. Gggs gotta fight his mandos anyway, better Lara than Wade.
