Comments Thread For: WBC Prez Backs a Mayweather Win Over McGregor as "50"

If the local boxing commission approves a boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and Connor McGregor, then WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman sees no reason why a win over McGregor shouldn't count as Mayweather's 50th victory.

lol mcgregor. My god, I'm not watching that. Wow lol and this is why UFC has way more events that SELL out & dominate the tv waves. What a shame, if that's the case might as well fight 50 cent, he actually has golden gloves under his belt lmfao

I don't understand this. If mcgregor was being outboxed by Diaz what makes him think he stands a chance against mayweather? Are these 2 guys trying to turn their respective sports into the wwe or something?

This will be the easiest fight for mayweather. Under the boxing rules, mcgregor does no have a chance. Mayweather is annoyingly wise. He wanted that easy win and make history and at the same time cash in hundreds of millions of dollars. No respect to that. He is more of a business man than a fighter.
