Why no threads about Joseph Parker?

I thought you people cared about the sport of boxing? This Takam fight is mega and the entire boxing world should be buzzing. Parker is getting a legit test early in his career and no one is talking about it. SMH.

If I scan sherdog for mma threads those nerds are talking about undercard women fights with PASSION.

Here on Boxingscene people like to talk contracts, PPV ratings and A side more than actual fights. It's why I think boxing is dying.

I've seen Parker fight and he looks like a better than average heavyweight but nothing that special to me. I think he loses to any of the best heavyweights. I would watch a fight he was in but there are many other boxers I am more interested in.

This IS the reason boxing is dying. You didn't know all these posters have accounting degrees?

I almost forgot to tell you I never start threads. I just put in my 2 cents worth on threads that are already started.

          What are you talking about?

I'm ****ing excited dude and backing Joseph Parker to win.

I hope he does win and I'm happy that he is finally facing real competition instead of fighting bums

There is nothing that amazing about Parker, he's going to be that level just below the elite. Nothing wrong with that, he's a very good fighter.

Takam is pretty average and got brutally ktfo by povetkin so he's got no chin left.

Parker will tko him around round 9. Predictable.

Do you see fury & Ortiz as the only two elite heavyweights then?

Takam is a test and a move up in quality for Parker but Takam is hardly a world beater. If Parker beats him, it'd be impressive but hardly world changing.

What's weird is, we have more talk about PPV numbers and Mayweather fighting some MMA has been than we do about the impending, lineal heavyweight championship clash.
