I wonder what weight he will comeback at.. 2 1/2 years is a long time to not fight and still try to make old weight of 130... Most likely he will be at 140 upon his return

I don't think it would be wise for Mikey to hop weight classes (bigger, stronger guys at 140). 135 should be his priority, he shouldn't skip it.

His first fight back will be at 140 and then he'll drop down to 135 for a title run before moving back up. That's his own words.

The most interesting part of this is the Garcia Boxing Promotion. Hearing more & more that Mikey will promote himself & just heard that Robert has several fighters he's kept un-signed by major promoters that he's looking to put into this Garcia Boxing Promotion.

Great move by the Garcia family here. More boxers need to do there own thing. They can more easily work with others that way & don't get stuck in this scandalous promoter contracts.

If that's the case, it wouldn't surprise me if they're still going to use Haymon as an advisor like others have done.

mikey should cycle the **** out of clenbuterol and then make a surprise "visit" to his cousins and family in mexico. his return to boxing will be epic! and if he tests positive he can blame the tainted carne asada.

140 will probably be where he starts. But I do think 135 will probably be his weight class for a while at least.

Exactly. He can no doubt be the top guy at 135, though I do think Linares would be the tougher fight for him at 135 pounds.
