But both these men are shrewd business men and probably don't let their feelings get in the way of the all mighty dollar. Feelings will be put aside if money can be made. They already put on the biggest financial fight in the history of the sport

I said it before but a TR / PBC would be a wicked combo for the sport.
One can only hope man but honestly as a big TR supporter, I know of the 2 Arum is petty & from what I hear Haymon isnt to friendly with Jay-z over their beef so Hayman maybe as well. But yeah you are right, Arums campp is tiny but he has some tuff guys and markets them well, Id love to see a TR PBC head on collision...

Im guessing that Bob knew he couldnt win so they settled for a big fight between the 2 companies in return for not wasting money on the lawsuit.

If Bob settled, it means he got a lot of money. Crazy to think otherwise.

But I don't really give a ****. These guys won't do any business together unless they absoultely have to, which would be extremely rare.

I could see Haymon serving up Broner to Crawford though...He would make a lot of money if his management fee, and my guess is that he secretly hates Broner anyway for how much of a clown he is...Imagine all of the headaches that Broner has caused team Haymon that we don't even know about.

Money in both of their pockets instead of money outta Haymon's pocket and into Arums. I heard Haymon is putting Zurdo on one of Mikey's undercards to throw Arum a bone Big Bro looking out for Zurdo

Some of you seem under the impression that the plaintiff is the one who is usually looking to settle.....90% of the time its the defendant that wants to settle because of the risk of losing.

Sorta true. Both sides always want to settle because it's cheaper. The plantiff lawyers wants to settle because the lawyers want to get paid and not drag out the case for years and they can move onto the next case. The defense wants to settle because a judgement could cost them way more money. I think both sides came to a win-win situation. If you remember the judge threw out a lot of the lawsuit and told TR to amend the suit. That showed that a lot of the claims were baseless. It doesn't take much to move a claim forward. Just the minimal burden of proof. And another thing a user here brought up, and one of the guys tweeting the story, is that during discovery Haymon/PBC started asking for documents concerning Pacquiao/Garcia/JCC Jr and a couple of weeks later we hear they settled.

Edit: That user was Scipio2009 He can expand on it better.

Yep! that was another thing i was thinking. Bob doesnt want those books opened.

Anyway a fractured sport is all bad so this is a step in the right direction hopefully.
