Ramirez has just hit big but let him get 2 maybe 3 televised bouts over the next 8 months or so.. This would be one of the biggest fights to make in 2017..

    2016 should be Canelo/Ggg
    2017 should be Ramirez/Ggg
I agree. Any fight in which GGG isn't the clear favorite should marinate.

Canelo has no chance against GGG but Ramirez can beat him. He has a big size advantage so he should feel confident to take on GGG if GGG moves up to 168.

GGG has never moved up in weight before. Why would you think he would do it now? Don't be ******.

Let him beat guys like groves, degale, jack, anthony dirrell before we pronounce him the best..
But he is slowly becoming a big draw in boxing and could be a big money fighter a year or so from now..
jack and degale struggled against bums in their last fights.Even retired bute managed to make it competative against jack. Ramirez is definitely better

I agree! He has no body of work to even know of he's any good. But calling out a P4P does raise your name status. Two problems.

            1. He can't make lower weight.
            2. GGG won't move up in weight.

If GGG fights any Top #5 168 lb guys at 168 I will close this account and run with my tail between my legs forever.

It's not about of Ggg is the clear favorite or not.. It's the fact that Ramirez just broke onto the scene.. He has had one big fight vs abraham.. Let him stay active and have him fight over the summer, then the fall, and maybe dec/jan, his profile will dramatically rise, and him vs Ggg on cinco de mayo would be huge..

Ramirez just needs some more exposure.. Putting him in there now would be like putting Canelo in vs floyd after Canelo knocked out baldomir..

Ggg-Ramirez is a fight that needs to build more demand,,, Canelo vs Ggg is already built up about as much as it can be.. Ggg isn't going to become any bigger of a star without getting a name like Canelo, cotto, etc on his resume.

It sure is, but GGG doesn't want it. He'll most likely fight Johnson next who is another little known fighter.

Ggg will be a clear favourite. At least 4/1 I'm guessing. 168 is the worst division in boxing skill wise. I would like ggg to go Jacobs Saunders than move out of division though.

It would be hilarious if Zurdo took Canelos top spot. I wasnt and i am still not completely sold on Ramirez but I will say the guy has shown a lot of improvement. That shows he isn't just in this game for the $. With that said, he needs to build his brand a lil more. I dont think a DeGale or Jack fight is possible but Strum is out there. If Zurdo unified hed get the boxing worlds attention. Than a Chavez Jr vs Zurdo next May would be great unless Canelo fights GGG.

That may be true but they still have beaten better fighters than ramirez.. Way too early to call Ramirez the best at 168
