...in his next fight. You guys are jumping the gun assuming he doesn't want that fight. He is just vacating so they have more time to negotiate. I don't consider him a b*tch until he signs up for a fight with a guy not named GGG. All of you are jumping the gun too early at this point.

No we're not. Canelo has made it clearly as daylight he won't be fighting Golovkin next by vacating. They're going to wait it out and make excuses about it. He absolutely will not be fighting Golovkin in his next fight, nor probably the one afterwards.

...all because they want Golovkin when his age really starts cracking him down.

Canelo won't fight Golovkin until Golovkin gets old. We all know it already, so why even doubt it with a dumb thread like this? Canelo is scared and won't fight Golovkin for many years, just face it.

Once he officially fights someone else, all that is speculation. They say they are negotiating. Let see what happens.

IF he wanted the fight at 160 he wouldnt have dropped the belt.

          He either :

          A. Doesnt want the fight at 160
          B. doesnt want the fight at all

Am I the only one who doesn't care for this fight?

I don't see it as competitive, Canelo might pepper GGG for a couple of rounds but he doesn't have the power to make it count against a guy with a great chin. Another early KO win.

I don't care if Golovkin is a star, if he gets to fight on PPV or any of that stuff.

Canelo will never step in the ring with GGG. Not this year not next not in 2018. He don't want that work.

It seems like a case of who else is out there? I think Jacobs and Saunders are also good fights but we pretty much know what will happen in those too.

I'm a Canelo hater but people need to quit with the scared / coward talk. IF Canelo has proven anything it's that he wants to be great and will fight whoever / whenever. it's clearly his team that doesn't want it and will do whatever they can to avoid it.

Just hope GB actually tries and make the fight and hope GGG team concede any and everything to get this fight made.

Because it isn't about the strap it's about the names attached to it.

Jacobs at least has the power to do something. Khytrov & Khurtsidze also come to fight and they hit hard.

The Gilberto Ramirez fight is intriguing if Arum is serious, Golovkin moving up to fight a big strong opponent would be worth watching.

Canelo fight would be an event but I just don't believe he can do anything but maybe I'm wrong, would be far from the first time.
