What is Abel talking about? WBA said that once the WBC belt situation gets resolved, they'll mandate Jacobs. Next fight must be Jacobs unless Jacobs doesn't want it.

That's true but WBC also issued a statement couple of days back that if Canelo drops the belt then GGG will be elevated to regular champion and he has to defend his belt against a mandatory next.. So not sure who among WBA and WBC will enforce their mandatory now..

So Saunders fight isn't happening anytime soon, even if unification takes priority over mandatory..

I don't mind Wilder but gtfo with that. Stivernes only decent win is Arreola who's not much. Struggled with old Austin, and has a ko loss to a journeyman. He's no better than any number of Ggg wins

So funny. I love how Cotto was practically gifted the belt after Martinez blows his knee out for a second time in the first round and then all the marketing around the Cotto - Canelo was around "lineal" WBC belt, which was at a catchweight between two super welterweights. Then after winning a boring fight in which neither man was seriously hurt. Canelo is crying like he accomplished something so great. Then picks another fight with a much smaller man with a notorious glass jaw just to get another spectacular KO for future marketing purposes. Gives the same line of pre-scripted BS regarding GGG, but at the same time hints vacating saying belts don't mean anything to him and then later vacates while still maintaining he will fight him and beat him. I just not sure how anyone could be a fan of this boy at this stage of his career. So bad.

In the interest of accuracy, Canelo has only fought one fighter who no one wants to fight, thats Lara. Where is the list of avoided opponents that he keeps referring too.
