Sanchez is right not to be surprised, you could see Canelo vacating a mile off.

I hope Golovkin walks away from talks now, he's only going to be talked towards dropping weight anyway.
I'd rather see him facing guys like Jacobs and Saunders. Canelo can stick to the 155 'division'..trying to boil down MW's and bringing up WW's.

The negotiations must have been a tremendous surprise to Canelo's team. How could they possible have been properly prepared for them? With so much to think about the issues couldn't possibly be resolved in the short time available.

LOL. Believe that and I'll sell you another one.
There really is no lie too big to see is there?

But at the end of the day if they fight each other next that's all that matters. If they don't the boxing world will grow sour on both until they fight each other.
Golovkin owes the WBA a title defense (with Alvarez vacating the belt by mid-May, the WBA likely starts the forced negotiation period tomorrow).

For all the talk of "I just want the belts", Golovkin giving up a belt to fight Alvarez would look foolish.

What a great coup for team GGG!
He gets to go back to HBO and fight for another 2.5 million instead of a career payday. How awesome!
Oh but now he gets to pay the WBC sanctioning fee to do it. What a smart guy there.
He said months ago that he wanted that belt, whether he got it by beating the diva or not and now, he has the belt. Diva isn't forcing schit on him because he wanted the belt, not the diva. He can go fight Saunders or Jacobs while diva will have to find another WW to drag up to 155. From here on out, Candelita's rep and popularity is going to tank and it's his own fault.

Canelo's gonna ask for 157. 158 with cut to GGG purse. I say GGG should take 157. September is many months away to loose 3 pds and get comfy with it. Take away all the alibis and force the fight. WAR!

Good for him. I'll be sure to catch his next fight on HBO Now.

Lmao GGG made Canelita drop the belt like his Padre was gonna discipline him, Oscar Dela Fishnets gonna make Motor mouth Sanchez wait for the fight again.

It's either 155 or nothing, I can def see Canelita going after Jacobs or BJS' belts.

Never in my life have I seen a fighter ducked like Golovkin(Ward and Lara aside).
