Also his KO of ufc best pound for pound fighter Jose Aldo was a nice counterpunch showing good timing and footwork

yup. gets knocked the fk out (by a mexican) and fanboys try to pretend it didnt happen to sell his next big fight, where he is supremely outclassed.

      Sounds like #48 to me.

That **** is horrendous for someone looking to compete at an elite level in boxing. I would bet big money on Floyd Mayweather by KO. Early. But most of all, I hope that bs fight never happens.

I was just up late making bad jokes bro, don't mind me.

            my real thoughts:

His footwork is pretty fluid, he covers ground pretty nicely when coming forward...he can track a guy and cut the ring off I like that.

you are right about his posture, his head is right there. If he could be more limber with his upper body I think he'd have a pretty good style. There would be a lot to work - for example, you can see that he wants to paw and leave his lead hand out there so measure his power shot and he won't be able to do that in boxing so the timing/balance would be adjustment for him.

but I think he does have a decent foundation to work from, and he has combat experience so why not give it a shot...he's 27. Of course leave it up to his trainers to advise whether or not he is good enough to turn pro.

Fighting floyd is a joke, I don't want to see it. But I think it would be exciting to see him give boxing a shot on the low level, work his way up the normal route or get KO'ed trying. just like evryone else

Why's he sparring a southpaw if he's preparing for Floyd ?
